to the Bronx, Take Bruckner Expressway (I-95N) To Orchard Beach/City Island Exit 8B}
Follow signs for Orchard Beach.
From: Queens: Take Throgs Neck Bridge or Whitestone Bridge to I-95 North New
England Thruway to Orchard Beach/City Island Exit 8B. Follow signs for Orchard
Beach
From New Jersey: Take George Washington Bridge to Cross Bronx Expressway to
Route I- 95 North New England Thruway to Orchard Beach/City Island Exit 8B. Follow
signs for Orchard Beach.

Public Transportation
To get to the park by public transportation, take the 6 train to the last stop - Pelham
Bay Park, Take the Bronx #29 bus to the traffic circle and then either walk or you can
also take the D or B train to Fordham Road, then take the BX12 to Pelham Bay, then
take the BX29 to City Island.
